FREEBIE - JUNE PAPERS !!

First off, an apology, as I've been MIA for exactly one whole month!  What can I say?  It's summer, I've had company, I've taken some more digital scrapping classes during this month, AND we have a NEW PUPPY in our house!  Don't know about you guys, but I've been busy, busy, busy!!

I had a birthday during June (not saying which), and my family gave me a new puppy.  I've been the very proud owner of two adorable Yorkies for a very long time, well 1996 and 1998.  We lost the younger one on St. Patrick's Day this spring at 14 yrs. of age.  On the first day of summer, June 21st, we lost the older one at 16.5 yrs. of age.  Both passed peacefully at home with us of simple "old age", so I can't ask for more, and we have so many years full of memories we made with them.  I've had all types of dogs in my lifetime, but Yorkies have been my favorite breed.  Perfect little house-buddies, smart, interactive, good travelers, no shedding, and I could go on and on singing their praises.  Both of mine were females; and, even though I was the one that hunted them down and acquired them, they "took" to my husband like glue, both of them!

This time around with the new puppy, my daughter and hubby got their heads together and got me a male (which I have never had in the house).  My daughter is a groomer and says that often times a male puppy will "take" to the female in the house.  So far, I can vouch for this statement.  Meet my little Yorkie/Poodle mix, "DUFFY", who has been at my heels 24-7 since arriving here . . . .

Is he cute or what??  My daughter is an animal lover and couldn't resist taking Duffy's brother from this litter.  Here's a pic of Duffy and Miller playing together and my grandson holding both of them,

The nonshedding curly hair they have is adorable, but I quickly decided Duffy needed a summer haircut so he could be cooler here at the beach during our hotest months, so here's a layout of his first official groom . . .

Okay, that's enough about Duffy for today!  Needless to say, I have a whole brand new subject to digi-scrap!  I've already taken oodles of pictures!

On to the FREEBIE I have for you today, my JUNE PAPERS.  So sorry it's so late in the month, but better late than to skip completely.  Here's my set of 7 colorful summer papers, all 12 x 12" at 300 dpi.  I hope you can use and enjoy them in your scrapping.  Here is the preview . . .

DOWNLOAD HERE OR HERE

I'm trying to always provide you with two different download site options in case one of them runs out of bandwidth during the month.

The remainder of my June was filled with me participating in the celebration of Jessica Sprague's 5th birthday online.  I jumped in with both feet and did my very first speed scraps, 5 in one day!!  I did the challenges all week long and took the free week long class, PhotoShop Top 5.  It was huge fun and I learned a lot, as always there.  I'm always sad when celebrations like that come to an end because everyday there was something fun to look forward to.  Her 40% OFF SALE runs through midnight Saturday, June 30; and during this time also all classes are 20% OFF.  If you are not familiar with her website and you are a digi-scrapper or want to be, I strongly suggest using the link above and checking it out.  The galleries there are full of inspiration, the forum is full of friendly folks all willing to help answer your questions and just be sweet and sociable, the blog keeps you informed, and Jessica's classes are just wonderful!

That's it from me for today.  Stay tuned, I will try to have more interesting freebies for you in July!

TOOTLES!!
